      SILICONE & TPE DOLLS RECOMMENDED CLOTHING

      You can check any given doll’s body dimensions at the bottom left of her page, under her pictures, you will see tabs. Simply click on the one called “DIMENSIONS”. All clothing size charts for our dolls are also available here.

      PREFERRED TYPE OF CLOTHING:

      You can dress your doll any type of clothing you want, nonetheless, to facilitate dressing, you should prefer clothes that are:

      • Stretchy
      • Buttoned (to avoid passing clothes over the head)
      • Fitted with a zip (to avoid passing clothes over the head)
      • Stretchy materials such as nylon
      • Ample cut such as dresses or kimono
      • Synthetic materials or silk
      • Lace fabrics are fine too, but prefer white lace clothing
      • Button, tie, snap or zip openings are easier to put on dolls than tops such as T-shirts or pullovers.

      Other types are fine, it just might be more time consuming to orientate her limbs correctly to put the piece of clothing on. For example with clothing that are tight and without any opening such as a hoodie sweater.

      CLOTHING & FABRICS TO AVOID:

      • Avoid poor quality fabrics. Make sure to wash any new clothing before putting it on your doll. (See below how to fix dye on clothing with at-home recipes).
      • Cheap denims. We recommend to use pantyhose or leggings underneath not to stain her skin.
      • Clothing with zip or fixations that could mark the silicone or the TPE (Be careful with bra’s fixations also)
      • Very tight or binding straps left on your doll over an extended period of time can form dents in her flesh, this is easy to fix, here.
      • Dark clothing which is dyed with low quality dyes.
      • Boned items like corsets, tight or heavy clothing can leave an impression on the silicone or on the TPE material, which will become permanent after a while (10 days or more).

      If your doll ever happen to be stained because of clothing, you need to our TPE Doll repair kit, which includes this cream to get rid of any stains, as well as TPE glue.

      If you have a doubt on whether a given piece of clothing might or not stain your doll’s skin, you can try to place it for a few minutes underneath her feet for example, or any other hidden area. If it doesn’t bleed after 10-20 minutes being put in contact with your doll’s skin, then it most likely won’t stain her either.

      We recommend against storing your doll with clothing on for extended periods of time. Prefer a synthetic or ideally silk neat nuisette if you do not wish to leave her fully undressed. Anything that ideally is not textured, and will not be too tightened up to her skin.

      NOTICE: You should wash any new outfits at least twice before putting them onto your doll. Fine Love Dolls declines all responsibilities of staining that would occur on your doll because of dyed clothing.

      This is also including on clothing items sold on our shop. Any type of staining can be quickly and fully cleaned.

      Your doll will naturally sweat oil at first, this is normal and harmless. However it may stain your clothing so make sure to wrap your doll into a towel following the first few days after reception of your model. This will help soak up the excess, and will avoid staining your beautiful, freshly acquired outfits or bedsheets.

      TIPS FOR DRESSING OR UNDRESSING YOUR SEX DOLL:

      • Pay extra care for the eyes and eyelashes when dressing or undressing your doll, you can easily scratch an eye with a zipper or tear an eyelash off. We recommend to remove the head prior to dressing up or undressing your doll for more convenience (at least the wig).
      • Take your time to position your doll’s arm the right way in order to put on a top clothing. For bottom clothing such as panties or pants, the easiest is to put it on while your doll is lying down. Process slowly little by little and work your way up by slightly lifting her thighs each time.
      • Avoid storing your doll with clothing on for extended periods of time. The folds or dyes on the fabric could mark or stain her skin.
      • Always wash any new clothing item before having your doll wearing it (ideally at least twice)
      • A freshly moulded doll’s body has been saturated with body lotion hydrating mineral oil, to keep her skin in the optimal condition during transportation. This could result in small oil sweating for the first day(s) or week. Although this oil is easily washable, ideally make sure to whip off the excess in order not to stain your clothes or bed sheets.

      SET DYE ON CLOTHING & PREVENT COLOR BLEEDING

      Clothing dye can bleed onto your doll silicone or TPE skin within seconds of putting it on. Shall that ever happen do not panic and try to remove by excessively wiping the area with soap or other products which could damage your doll’s skin. Make sure to check our tutorial how to easily get rid of any types of stains here.

      As a rule of thumb always wash new clothing items ideally at least twice before having your doll wearing them. This however, might still not be enough to prevent dye bleeding to occur. If you aren’t sure whether a given piece of clothing might stain your doll, we recommend placing it for a few minutes onto an area such as her feet or the skull (underneath the wig) to double check.

      A well known process called “colorfast” can help you set the dye on your clothing and prevent it to stain your doll. This method works with all types of fabrics, including wool, linen, denim or cotton. To do so:

      STEP 1: Fill a large mixing bowl or cleaning bucket with one gallon of water. Add 1/4 cup of salt and one cup of vinegar. Vinegar and salt will naturally lock the color into the fabric. Mix the water to make sure all ingredients are distributed evenly. Avoid malt or apple cider vinegar which don’t work as well.

      STEP 2: Add the piece of clothing into the water, and press on it to make sure it is completely saturated. Let the fabric soak in the water for 24 hours to ensure the color is completely set.

      STEP 3: Remove the garment, and rinse the bowl or bucket with fresh cold water. Add the fabric back to the container, then swirl and squish it. If you still see color releasing from the fabric, repeat 1-2 again.

      STEP 4: Let the fabric dry, and your item will hold its color the next time you put it onto your doll.
