Whether you want human or synthetic hair depends on what you prefer. Human hair can be colored and straightened or curled but are much or expensive, and require more maintenance. Synthetic hair are look alike, are more affordable, easier to take care of, but have a slightly shorter lifespan, and cannot be colored or styled using heat.
The haircut defines whether a lace wig is needed or not. Wigs that have a lace cap are a must for any hairstyle where the forehead is visible, for example with natted or tied hair, as well as hairstyles without bangs or fringes. In these cases a lace wig is needed so hair will look just as if they were real (implanted).
Any hairstyle with a fringe such as a bob haircut for example, or where the hairline is hidden will not require a lace cap. You won’t however get the same realistic look if you try to tie them (unless if using a cap or a hat on top of the wig).

Implanting hair bundles onto soft TPE or soft silicone as it will not hold as well as on rigid blends. Implanted hair work better on more rigid TPE or silicone head blends.
