Because standard security procedures only require a simple username and password it has become increasingly easy for hackers to gain access to a user’s private data such as personal and financial details and then use that information to commit fraudulent acts, generally of a financial nature.
Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a secure sign in process that combines something you know (your password) with something you have (your phone) and it could not be easier to set up.
First of all before you get started, make sure you have your smartphone (Apple, Android or Windows). You will need it later in the setup process.
Setting up two-factor authentication (2FA)
You will be asked to complete two easy tasks to get your account up and running with 2FA:
1. Install an authenticator app
First, you need to download an authenticator app on your smartphone. You will use this app to get the verification code used to sign in to your Fine Love Dolls account.
Find your smartphone brand below for instructions on how to download the app.
Already have an authenticator app? We recommend using the authenticator listed below for your device; but you can use the authenticator of your choice, as long as it is TOTP (time-based one-time password) or HOTP (event-based) compliant. Please confirm this before continuing if you are using a different authenticator app.
Install an authenticator app on an Apple device:
- Open the App Store app on your phone.
- Search for “Google Authenticator” and look for this icon:
- Download and install Google Authenticator onto your phone.
Install an authenticator app on an Android device:
- Open the Google Play app on your phone.
- Search for “Google Authenticator” and look for this icon:
- Download and install Google Authenticator onto your phone.
Install an authenticator app on a Windows device:
- Open the Windows Store app on your phone.
- Search for Microsoft Authenticator and look for this icon:
- Download and install the application onto your phone.
2. Scan the barcode and enter the verification code
Second, once the authenticator app is downloaded, open the app and follow the instructions until you are prompted to scan a barcode (also known as a QR code).
Use your phone’s camera to scan the QR code on the two-factor authentication setup screen. A verification code associated with your Fine Love Dolls account will appear in the authenticator app on your phone (note that this code will change every 30 seconds).
Enter this code in the Enter the code field on your setup screen, and click Continue.

Downloading your 2FA backup codes
After setting up two-factor authentication, it’s important to download your list of backup codes.
You can use backup codes to sign in to your account. if you have lost your phone, or also if you are unable to access the authenticator app when signing in via 2FA.
If this is your first time setting up 2FA, you’ll be asked to download them at the end of the setup process.
Most importantly we highly recommend that you download and save/copy your backup codes in a secure, accessible location other than your phone.
