2020/05/24 COVID-19 UPDATES
Covid-19 is now fully juggulated in China, with only a few imported cases reported daily on the whole Chinese territory.
All factories have resumed production since end of February and are now back to their full production capacity. Production lead time is not impacted.
Shipping lead time has however been impacted lately, and delays are to be expected, on doll orders shipping to Europe or North America. These delays vary from one week to another, and from one country to another.
Unprecedented disruptions on logistic supply chains are due to aircraft carriers having been reduced and because a lot of PPE and medical equipments are being shipped out of China worldwide, creating congestion on logistic roads, and queuing time for plane booking to load merchandises. At least 1 week delay is to be expected upon production of your doll. Smaller orders such as accessories ship faster.
We expect the logistic situation to improve from now on with disruptions having reached their peak. International forwarders are now adding more cargo belly capacity onto the market, to adjust to the surging demand, and commercial airlines are reconverting charters for freight transportation. At the same time the global demand for personal protective equipments is stabilizing.
Logistics on European roads are already seeing less congestion with the end of the lockdown in most countries, and started to recover. The same is soon to be seen for shipments at destination of North America, with a few weeks time lag, as commercial airlines resume operations, and areas on lockdown reopen.
All manufacturers are already able to process orders in regular lead times (6 to 8 days), or with very small delays only.
Accessories orders are only slightly impacted anymore by delays. Do not hesitate to contact us for a status update on your order.
Please note that TPE glue from our repair kit or makeup can only be shipped through federal postal service (USPS in the US for example). Main international carriers such as FedEx, DHL or UPS do not accept to ship these items. If you order makeup or a repair kit from us, expected delays until reception are much longer than with other packages handled by these international carriers (such as jewelries or other accessories), with a very limited visibility on the package until it reaches destination.
